What image formats are supported?
Livesignage supports the most common image formats to ensure fast loading and smooth display across all screen types.
- JPG – ideal for most image content
- PNG – recommended when you need transparency
- GIF – supports simple animations (great for short, looping visuals)
- PDF, DOC, PPT – each page is converted into a static image slide
- HEIC
- WebP
- TIFF
Recommended size:
- 1920×1080 px (Full HD) for widescreen (16:9) templates
- 1080×1080 px for square-format templates
- Higher sizes (e.g., 3840×2160 px) are accepted, but not necessary unless you're using 4K display
Livesignage has no hard file size limit for image uploads. However: the heavier the image, the longer it may take to upload and render.
For best performance, we recommend keeping image files under 10 MB
