What is a “Touch” Widget and How Does It Work?

What is a Widget?

A widget is a feature that allows you to freely arrange content on a display.
It can be added to playlists or scheduled independently.

When creating a new widget, you can enable the “Touch Event” option for each zone you add, making it interactive.
This means that when a user touches the screen, the widget can trigger a
Flow*.

In practice, any element you add (image, text, playlist, etc.) can become a button.

NotesNote: This function is only available with Phygital licenses.
Alerttouch-enabled display is required to use it.

⚠️ Not All Widgets Support Touch Events

Currently, touch interaction is supported only for the following widget types:

Image, IPTV, Weather, Clock, Playlist and Text.
