How can I access a display setting page?
Within each display's detail page, the Settings tab lets you quickly manage essential display parameters.
Here's what you can manage:
Screen Rotation
- Use the "Rotate screen" button to switch between horizontal and vertical orientation
- Adjust the device’s brightness in real time. Brightness control is only available on certain models

You can rename the display to recognize it more easily and may also add a physical location label (e.g., “Meeting Room 1”, “Downtown Window”). This is only visible to you.
Groups & Levels
You can assign the display to one or more groups or a single level to streamline content distribution and remote actions

Quick Actions
- Restart display: The display will turn off and back on again.
- Turn off display: The display is turned off.
- Delete display: Removes the screen from your Livesignage network (⚠️ This action is irreversible)
Once turned off, the display cannot be powered back on remotely.
Creating Display Groups and Levels
Livesignage allows you to organize your screens into groups and levels for easier centralized management.
Add a Display to a Group
Groups are useful when you want to manage multiple displays at the same time (e.g., same playlist, same power-off schedule, same remote action).
To assign a display to a group:
Go to the Display Settings
- Under “Display Groups,” click + Add to a Group
- A selection window will appear
- Check one or more existing groups or click + Create New Group
- Click Save Changes when done
A display can belong to multiple groups at the same time.
Assign a Display Level
Advanced Display Settings
Advanced settings allow you to perform technical actions useful for control, reset, and remote maintenance of devices.
To access them, enable the switch at the bottom of the Display Settings screen.
Once activated, you will have access to the following functions:

Run speed test | Measures the network connection speed of the display |
Clear display memory | Deletes all locally stored content |
Download display logs | Exports a log file with system activity and diagnostics |

Enable safe mode | Activates a simplified troubleshooting mode |
Show loader | Displays a loading indicator when content starts |
Update owner | Assigns a new user as the display’s administrator |
Update firmware | Installs the latest firmware (available on supported models) |
