How to schedule content or a playlist on a display
Scheduling Content to a Display
Open the display tab (e.g., “10 Touch”), go to the Scheduling section, and click “+ Add Another Content”.
Here you’ll also see the content already scheduled and its status (e.g., "Always visible").
How to Add Content
- Click “+ Add Another Content”
- A configuration popup will appear
- From the dropdown menu “Select a content”, choose one of the following:
- A playlist
- An app
- Choose when it should appear:
- Always visible
- Or scheduled with:
- Start and end date/time
- Daily time slots
- Active weekdays
- Click “Save content”
Setting Up Interactive Touch Content
In the same popup, Livesignage allows you to assign additional content that activates only when a user touches the screen.
This option is only available on touch displays. This feature allows you to display one piece of content as a screensaver, and to switch to another after the user touches the screen.
To enable it:
- In the content assignment popup, toggle “Touch content” ON
- Choose the content to display when touched (playlist or, app, or widget)
- Select an interaction icon (optional):
- No icon
- White icon
- Black icon
Set the inactivity timeout (in seconds). After this time, the screen returns to the default content.
Example: You can display a passive “storefront” loop and activate interactive content, show a website page or any other experience - only when a user taps the screen.
