Permissions and roles management

Roles

Assignable Roles for Livesignage Users:


Admin Role:

- Has edit access to all displays, playlists, slides, and apps

- Can create any type of resource

- Cannot manage user accounts


Content Manager Role:

- Has edit access to all playlists and slides

- Can only manage the scheduling of displays

- Can delete any slide and playlist

- Can schedule playlists

- Can create playlists and slides


Editor Role:

- Has read-only access to all playlists and slides

- Can edit only their own playlists and slides

- Has read-only access to displays

- Can delete only their own slides

- Can create playlists and slides


IT Operator Role:

- Has edit access to all displays

- Has no access to playlists or slides


Subscriber Role:

- Can edit only their own slides

- Cannot delete any content

- Cannot create playlists but can access their own assigned playlists (created by others)

- Has no access to displays


Data Analyst Role:

- Can only view the "Live Queue" app

- Can add new live queues and edit existing ones

- Has access to the dashboard
