What are the network requirements to install Livesignage?
To use Livesignage correctly, all displays must be connected to a stable and reliable internet network.
Recommended Connection Type
- Wired connection (Ethernet): This is strongly recommended as it guarantees greater stability and service continuity.
- Wi-Fi connection: Wi-Fi can also be used, provided the network is 2.4GHz.
5GHz networks are not compatible with some display models, so it's best to avoid them.
In both cases, ensure the connection is stable, especially if you're using apps that require real-time updates, such as Live Queue, Meeting Room, and other interactive or dynamic applications.
Ports and Domains to Allow in Firewall/Router
To ensure communication between the displays and the Livesignage cloud, the following ports and domains must be reachable:
Domain | Port |
myls.io | 443 |
livesignage.digital | 443 |
livesignage.io | 443 |
amazonaws.com | 443 |
cloudfront.net | 443 |
emqxsl.com | 8883, 8084 |
If your network uses specific firewalls or filters, ensure these addresses and ports are unblocked.
