Display Philips PPDS

When you first turn on the display, the setup wizard will launch to configure the main settings.

During this phase, carefully verify that the date, time, and time zone are configured correctly.

Disable Automatic Sleep Mode

Enter the Administrator Menu (click Home + 1888) and select.
Settings” -> “Display”, then set “Sleep Mode”  to OFF and “Screensaver” to OFF.
"Settings"->"Security", then set “Unknown Sources” to True.

Install Livesignage

You can choose between two alternative options to download the app.

Option 1 - Internal Browser

Enter the Administrator Menuopen the Chromium app, and enter the URL: https://myls.io/philips/ls.apk
Once the download is complete, return to the Administrator Menu and navigate to: 
"Storage" → "Internal Storage" → "Download"
Open the ls.apk file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Option 2 - USB Flash Drive

Download the ls.apk file from the following URL: https://myls.io/philips/ls.apk
Save the file onto a USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash drive into the display's USB port. Enter the Administrator Menu and select "Storage".
Choose the USB flash drive and locate the ls.apk file.
Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Once completed, you will see the Livesignage logo on your display. 

Connecting the Display to Livesignage

After a few seconds, a numeric code will appear on the display.


Once the application installation is complete and pairing is done on Livesignage, follow these steps:

Configure Livesignage as a Custom App

Enter the administrator menu and select:

"Settings" -> "Signage Display" -> "Source settings" -> "Custom app" and Set "Select app" to "Livesignage". Set "Force custom app startup" (or Force custom app to start) to "Enabled"

Configure Livesignage as a Startup App

Enter the administrator menu and select: "Settings" -> "Signage Display" -> "General settings" -> "Boot on source" and Set "Input" to "Custom app"

Note: The location of this setting may vary depending on the display model and firmware version. If the "Custom app" menu is not available, go to "Apps" -> "Default app" -> "Starter app" and select "Livesignage" as the application to launch automatically when the display is powered on.

Configure the Correct Font Size

Enter the administrator menu and select: "Settings" -> "Display" -> "Font size" and Set to "Default"
